Petition under Section 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949, as applicable to Chandigarh for eviction of the respondent from the first floor of House no.3400, Sector 32-D, Chandigarh on the ground of personal necessity and non payment of arrears of rent.

As a sequel to my aforementioned discussion, the petition on the ground of non payment of rent and personal necessity is hereby allowed. The respondent is directed to pay the amount of Rs.3,24,280/-as an arrears of rent within two months from the date of this order, failing which, the respondent shall be deemed to be evicted on the ground of arrears of rent. Moreover, the respondent is also liable to be evicted on the
ground of personal necessity of the petitioner within two months from the date of this order. The respondent is also directed to hand over the vacant possession of the demised premises i.e first floor of House no.3400, Sector 32-D, Chandigarh
